Melissa Hartzler is an adoptive / foster mom who started this journey with Jennifer Eccles in an effort to change the steriotypes about fostering and find ways to support the children, parents, and resource families during the fostering process.
Carey Usher, a resident of Augusta County, has been with Mary Baldwin University for 20 years, serving as the inaugural dean of the women’s college, as well as associate provost.
